This semester we focused on vocabulary, composition, and grammar.  Our first quarter final was composed of "exotic" words, in which were required to know the meanings, and proper usage. Next, a Parallelism assignment taught us a method of composition in which we eliminated unneeded elements in our sentences. (This helped with fluency) Finally, we were given the opportunity to use these skills later on in the year through our Risk Business Essay. This tested our overall grammar skills.
